Can this run entirely inside our own network?

Yes. Convex deploys on your infrastructure, including air-gapped environments with no outbound connection. In that mode you point it at model endpoints you control, and licensing and payment work offline.

Do you connect to Slack, Jira, SharePoint?

Not today. Convex works from documents you upload and from a self-hosted drive, plus anything you expose through the MCP endpoint or the REST API. If a packaged connector matters to your rollout, tell us which one — that's how the roadmap gets set.

How do you stop one person burning the whole budget?

Budgets are allocated, not shared. Each member has a balance and live rate-limit meters; when it runs out they request more and a manager approves or declines. You can see every unit spent, by member and by capability.

Is our data used to train models?

No. Your documents and conversations are not used to train any model. Retrieval is permission-aware, and PII detection runs over material before it reaches a model.

Which models can we use?

Models from every major provider, selectable per conversation, under one subscription. Which ones a given member can reach is set by your plan rather than by whoever has an API key.

Does it work in Persian?

Convex is built bilingual, Persian and English, right-to-left first — not translated after the fact. The interface, the documents, the assistants and the reports all work in both.
